The 13th Swedish System-on-Chip Conference

The Swedish System-On-Chip Conference SSoCC gathers researchers and students to present and discuss challenges of System-on-Chip (SoC) design. The conference has three main goals: to inspire and educate graduate students presenting and discussing their latest results, to give the participants an overview of SoC-related research and development work in Sweden, and to stimulate to cooperation between different research groups. The papers presented during the conference focus on design of analog/RF/digital/system-level electronics.

Acreo’s participation:

Invited lecture by Peter Andersson Ersman, entitled 'Integration of printed electronic components into versatile systems on flexible substrates'. A technology platform based on electrochemical transistors and electrochromic displays printed from organic materials on flexible substrates was presented at the conference. The devices of the technology platform are operated below 3 V and can be manufactured by using standard printing tools, and the device manufacturing is further simplified by that only a small set of materials is employed. Examples of printed electronic systems were presented, such as active and passive matrix addressed displays, touchless sensor interfaces, secure user authentication applications and a novel approach to obtain reconfigurable systems utilizing self-adhesive active materials.
