Meet Acreo at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

Acreo Swedish ICT, in collaboration with Ericsson and Linköping University, is demonstrating a new unique communication concepts that links printed electronics to mobile telephones; the Connected Paper which determines a unique identity from printed electronics and uses the human body as the “wire” to transfer it into services in a smartphone attached to the network.

Demonstrations how digital information can be transferred from a printed label to a mobile phone using the human body as a communication channel will be shown by Acreos Göran Gustafsson and Ericssons Jan Hedéren all exhibition days in the Ericsson Booth. Acreo will also demonstrate other technology platforms involving printed electronics for different applications in home- and working life.

The unique technology has been developed within the Printed Electronics Meet Mobile-project financed by VINNOVA and the program Challenge-driven Innovation (UDI). Partners are Acreo Swedish ICT, Linköping University, Ericsson and others (see projectlink for more details).

Mobile World Conference is the largest mobile technology congress in the world and 60 000 visitors is expected.
