EDA/CAD Tools
- Integrated Circuit and System Design
For design and verification we have a broad suite of circuit and system design tools and a well-equipped measurement lab.
EDA/CAD tools that we use are:
- System simulations: Agilent ADS, Matlab, Simulink, Coware SPW
- Digital ASIC design: Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, Cadence
- Mixed signal design: Agilent ADS, Cadence
- Microwave simulations: Agilent ADS and Momentum, Ansoft HFSS
- RFIC design: Cadence RF Spectre
The measurement equipment we have gives us the possibility to characterize antennas, components and circuits up to 50 GHz, as well as mixed signal and digital circuits. Examples of in-house instruments are:
RF/Microwave
- Spectrum analyzer HP 4407B 26GHz (3GHz tracking gen.)
- Network analyzer HP8510C 50GHz incl. Karl Suss PM5 probe station
- NF meter N8974A, 10 MHz-6.7 GHz
- Synth. signal generator 8665B, 0-6 GHz
Antennas
- Shielded anechoic chamber EMP tronic >70dB (>1GHz) incl. antenna characterisation system
Mixed signal
- Logic Analys/Pattern gen. 16702B, 16750A, 16720A
- Oscilloscope 1,5GHz LeCroy
- Pulse Generator 165MHz 2ns/10ps
- Oscilloscope 300MHz/4Chan TDS3034
Component
- Semicond Par Analyzer HP4155B
- LCR-meter 30MHz HP4285A
We are currently building up a measurement and simulation system for liniarization of power amplifiers in mobile terminals.
