Organic and Paper Electronics

Tomorrow printed paper will be an even more interactive medium and carrier for electronic information. We present some of our visions and examples of what can already be done. We also share some of our ideas of the next step in merging ideas from electronics and Life Science into the new area of Bioelectronics.

1. Organic Electronics
   With electronics based on polymer, one can envision a drastic reduction in production cost as well as the enabling of new exciting applications by adding electronic functions to other materials such as paper and plastics.
2. Electronic Paper Printing House
   In parallel with the basic developments of EC devices and systems, the production processes for R2R production of organic electronics is in focus in the so-called Electronic Paper Printing House (EPPH).
