EL for authentication

Electroluminescent ink has been available on the market for decades but due to high manufacturing costs it has not reached the volume market. Acreo has recently developed an all-printed process suitable for sheet-to-sheet or roll-to-roll manufacturing making the technology affordable in smaller volumes and new applications. Arbitrary display dimensions are available in iconic, segmented or matrix-adressed printed displays from Acreo.
