SiC Power Center

Technology and competence transfer

SiC Power Center is a platform for cooperation between industry, research institutes and academia throughout the whole value chain. The objective is to speed up the implementation of SiC power devices to take advantage of the benefits: energy efficient and compact systems working in high temperatures.

SiC Power Center offers full scale competence and knowledge in power electronics:

• Module and circuit design
• Electrical and mechanical simulation
• Device testing
• Prototype evaluation
• Experience and knowledge exchange
• Development co-funding

Industry driven R&D

Focus within the center cooperation is to explore the full potential of SiC components. It is about sharing resources, competences and knowledge for future applications and increased competitiveness in industry.
