Fibertronix AB, established as a spinoff from Acreo in 2008, provides customer-defined specialty optical fibers to an international market.

Their product portfolio covers a wide range of special fibers, primarily for oil and gas, avionics, and defense applications. In particular, the company specializes in fibers for harsh environment applications, such as high temperature applications (polyimides and high temperature acrylates) or environments high in hydrogen or moisture.
