Multi-layer control Testbed

The Multi-layer control Testbed consists of both commercial and emulated GMPLS enabled network elements. Allows for interoperability testing and prototype development.

Network emulation platform

The Network emulation platform consist of a number of servers and Ethernet switches that allows to emulate networks of different topologies, link technologies, and control software. You can view it as a workbench for network tests. The platform acts as an enabler for product prototyping, protocol and network architectural research. Parts of the GMPLS (Generalized MPLS www.ietf.org) testbed is being emulated on top of the network emulation platform as well as other research e.g. on OpenFlow.
