Competence Centers
With the aim to provide innovative and profitable solutions in electronics, optics and communication technology Acreo has formed competence centers focusing on specific R&D areas.
A competence center is a network to create efficient collaboration between academia and industry to nourish innovation, share resources and efficiently commercialize research results. The network is open for everybody active within the specific field of R&D. To become a center member contact the specific Center Manager at Acreo.
Two centers at Acreo, The Acreo Fiber Optic Center and IMAGIC, were appointed as Institute Excellence Center by VINNOVA, KK-Foundation and SSF in 2007.
