Acreo has advanced lab facilities which give us the possibility to develop and verify a concept, develop prototypes and manage manufacturability. Our testbed is a key element in our end user integrated development process within the area of Broadband Technology.

When a technology is mature enough and there is a market opportunity Acreo has the philosophy to support spin-off companies. During the past 10 years 17 spin-off companies have been the result of successful R&D at Acreo. Two of them are Proximion and Silex.
