What do you appreciate with Acreo?

At Acreo you are offered a high degree of freedom, and with that comes a high degree of responsibility. If you get a good idea that fits into a project, you are most likely free to pursue it. I also like the feeling of actually contributing to society – what we do makes sense for a lot of people. Finally, I have some wonderful and stimulating colleagues with whom I have great technical discussions, but also twisted coffee break conversations …

Tell me about your job? What is the greatest challenge?

I work with several projects within home and access networks, and we have partners from companies, universities, and public administrations, both in Sweden and abroad. The greatest challenge is probably to understand the market in terms of players, products, and trends on one side, and the user demands on the other side - and to transfer all this into ideas and concepts that are useful for the companies working within the field.

What made you apply for job at Acreo? What attracted you?

I have always enjoyed working in the zone between research and real products. University research was too theoretical for me, and Acreo offered me just the right mix of high-tech development and intellectual challenges while still being connected to the real world with real people and real needs!

Acreo is part of Swedish ICT together with Interactive Institute, Santa Anna, SICS and Viktoria Institute.
